Thousands types of birds are found in Keoladeo National Park, especially in the winter season many migratory birds come here after traveling thousands of kilometers, you will get to see these birds here throughout the year. Due to this the birds-loving people from all over the world come here to see the birds. Keoladeo National Park is also known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. All kinds of indigenous foreign birds breed in the park by making their nest here and when their young grow up they take them back to their homeland, here they get enough food easily, they all live here and eat together. This National Bird Park of Rajasthan was included in the World Heritage Site in 1971, this bird sanctuary has an ancient Shiva temple called Keoladeo and on this basis it is named Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary.
Earlier this park used to be the hunting ground of the Jat kings of Bharatpur, here the kings of Bharatpur used to come for hunting with their foreign dignitaries.
